Lead Cloud Engineer (US) – Work Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America. Hours: 40. Pay Details: $113,000 – $196,000 USD. Responsibilities Provide oversight, consultative advice, and guidance as the Lead Designer and/or top technical Development Specialist within the organization. Lead the future direction of development and design patterns across multiple systems, complex applications, cross-business initiatives, and for new and emerging technology projects. Offer technical guidance and expertise to others on significant and complex development/design issues that may impact transformational technology or cross-business strategic initiatives. Demonstrate extensive understanding of the business supported and the Bank, with deep expertise in technology concepts, environment, direction, and related tools. Help set bank standards on infrastructure, architecture, and various technology areas from design, support, and solutions perspectives. Collaborate with technology COE leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and external/vendor leadership teams to assess development/solutions designs to meet strategic needs. Qualifications Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or technical certificate; graduate degree preferred; 10+ years related experience. Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of design, build, and deployment of cloud-native solutions on public and private clouds (AWS and Azure). 5+ years of design, review, and coding experience integrating various application requirements (non-functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations, etc.). Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation. 5+ years of experience with virtual networks, load balancing, VPNs, VPCs, etc. 5+ years of Docker and Kubernetes. 5+ years of monitoring and logging with CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, etc. Cloud certifications such as AWS or Azure are highly desired. Physical Requirements Domestic travel – Occasional; International travel – Never. Performing sedentary work – Continuous; Performing multiple tasks – Continuous. Reading, writing, and comprehending instructions – Continuous; Concentrating for long periods – Continuous. Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs on occasion; other physical activities as described (e.g., standing, sitting, reaching).
